My favorite season is Fall. Sin embargo, I am happy in any season as long as the humidity is low. Así, Summer is definitely my least favorite. Spring is so beautiful with its promise of renewal and Winter! The holidays, the layers, the Snow! Late Spring – Early Summer. It’s a beautiful time of year here in NC.
Winter. In California I feel I’m always waiting for rain, and Winter is the best time for that. Right now everything is so dry and dusty it doesn’t even feel like Fall.
I would say Fall is my favorite season for many reasons. September is my birthday. I love to decorate for Fall and Halloween— from the front porch to the bathrooms! I particpate in bazaars selling the items I have painted (pumpkins, Santas and snowmen).
The abundance of candy and treats call to me, too. And the anticipation of the Christmas season.
I love spring—flowers blooming especially.

Spring is my favorite time of the year.
Fall is my favorite season. The evenings and nights are cool for sleeping and these days are pleasant. I love the colors of fall too.
Autumn is my favorite season. The daylight hours spread a colorful panorama of nature in her glory, while the chill of the evenings invite me sit by a cheerful fireplace, wrapped in memories of past Autumns.
I absolutely live fall! Everything about it-the vibrant colors, the cooler temps, the harvest and pumpkins and gourds and apples and acorns, scarecrows and sunflowers, Thanksgiving, sweaters, the autumn smells, EVERYTHING FALL. I just love it.

As I scroll through the responses of others, I can see that one’s favorite season might depend on where one lives. I live in the NE, and despite the humidity, I love late spring, summer, and early fall the best. Winter always overstays its welcome.
Really hard to pick. Here we have winter 5-6 months so spring/summer/autumn really squished together and quite often shortened. Even then each one has great appeal but I will chose winter. Snow blankets on the lawns and trees. Crisp air that burns as you breathe it in. Excuses for sweaters and warm coats. Boots and mittens and relaxing in front of a fire with cocoa or hot toddy in hand. If the season is going to stick around for so long, might as well enjoy it!

I love Fall. The changing of the leaves. There is a hill that I like to go down in my town and look over the valley. The colors together are breathtaking. Once while coming home to PA from OH I rounded a curve on the turnpike, I had to pull over and take pictures. The colors were so beautiful it took my breath away and brought tears to my eyes.

Some of my favorite memories are the spring and summers those first years being a young broke couple. Now when everyone’s complaining about the heat of summer (which is rough especially in SC 🙂 lol) I still think of the drives in the beautiful Italian country side and long walks in gorgeous small towns eating gelato on the sidewalk. 🙂
Fall is my favorite time of year. I live in New England so every year we are treated to an amazing display of Mother Natures talent with a paintbrush as the colors change on the leaves. And then of course as they fall the amazing crunch and swish underfoot. Definitely a treat for the senses!

I have always loved summer. Growing up on Virginia’s east coast, I got sad when summer was over and cold, damp weather began. When I was just a little girl, someone told me there was a place where there wasn’t any winter. I was so excited and vowed to little there one day. I fulfilled my dream and now I live in beautiful, warm, sunny southwest Florida. The weather here is always delightful! The other seasons are pretty, but I will just enjoy pictures of leaves and snow, Muchas gracias.

My favorite season is summer. I love to swim in the lake in our backyard. I also like to read under the birch, oak, maple and evergreen trees. My husband and I take walks in the woods. We love the longer hours of daylight. We particularly like to watch the sunset over the lake. Wisconsin summers can be quite pleasant temperature wise usually it hovers in the 80*s during the day. PERFECT! I like to play in the yard with my grandchildren or take them to a local park/playground. Summer is also a great time to visit my two boys one lives in Portland, OR and the other lives in Moab, UT.
Late spring, it’s warming up, the early blooms are out and it seems like everything else is starting to bud. There are more days with sun spots and a few less of continual rain (I live in Oregon). Congrats on your new grandson.

I love Winter because even though we still have 70 degree weather here in Alabama, the humidity is not so high. We’ll usually start out around 50-60 degrees in the morning and warm to low 70’s or mid 70’s. Just enough of a nip in the air to make Hot Tea or Hot chocolate a great indulgence.

Hello! My favorite season is fall but it depends on where I am in the fall. I grew up in SE Alaska and the deciduous leaves turned yellow for about 2 days then fell to the ground….but I’ve since lived in Oregon and north Idaho and the vibrant leaf colors are a treat and long lasting.

Living in Wisconsin, it’s pretty much a given that I love all four seasons. Although I must admit that winter has been known to be my least favourite, especially when I have to be out in the worst weather of the year!! I’m not the biggest fan of the cold, nor do I like having to shovel snow, but seeing it on the trees right after it falls? Now that’s magical!
I love winter. I hate sweating so that is bonus number one. Bonus two the beaches are less crowded so I pick shells and sea glass. Three all that pretty snow and the quiet that follows it😍

Fall is my favorite time of the year with the changing colors of the leaves and the nip in the air. Cool nights with warm days makes me think of comfort food along with apple picking and of course pumpkins. Beautiful mums also are a favorite of mine this time of year.

It is also the one time of the year that my daughter who lives abroad comes home to visit. Her birthday is 2 days after Christmas so spending this time with her is doubly magical.

Now that I have lived in Iowa for the past 16 years I would say Fall is my favorite season. I love all the wildlife that you see running and all the trees that turn. You actually see seasons here in Iowa as compared to California where I am from. I just returned from a visit there and it was in the 70’s and we were walking down the boardwalk. My husband pushing me in the wheelchair and my granddaughter who is 1 today was on my lap and it was wonderful to see the waves but you had no idea what season it was there. The rides were all closed and that gave you an idea that the kids were all in class. Other than that the weather could of told you beginning of summer or late spring. It was a wonderful day but being in the midwest you can tell what season it is.

I like winter. In Texas we pretty much go from winter to summer and summer to winter. I have had my air conditioning on this month and it is November. Winter is perfect for curling up with soup and a good book in front of the fireplace.

But the smells as I walk the paths thru the woods & hear the crunching of the leaves under my feet relaxes me. I love going to the farms to pick the pumpkins, corn stalks, & other fall decorations, & foods including the apples & apple cider. I look so forward to having a cup of warm cider with a cinnamon stick. The shorter days reminds me of when my mom would cook dinner & I would wait at the window for my dad to come home. The steam would cover the window & I would draw pictures in it. The weather is crisper & I feel more alive. This is also the season for the beginning of decorating, fall, Halloween, Thanksgiving, & Christmas. Then what follows is decorating for Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, & Easter. Next thing I know spring has arrived. Fall is the time for stories & family gatherings. It is my favorite time of year.
